Moon Girl 3 (page 26) - by Rahzzah

Masked vigilantes wage class warfare from the roof tops of 1950’s New York; it’s The Dark Knight meets Mad Men. Clare is an exiled Russian Princess hiding in New York. When enemies from her old life resurface, the repressed Warrior Queen must fight back. Moon Girl becomes a champion of the counter culture and inspires others in this era of social revolution to be more-than-human. But in order to defeat Satana, Sugar Plum Fairy, Tiki Bob and the dangerous forces they represent, Moon Girl will have to overcome her own neurosis!

Moon Girl 3 page 5 by ~Rahzzah

o.k. rather than just copy and past the same message over n over for the next month on these I figure I’ll try and give some “directors commentary”

this was the first page in the issue that really suffered from going to print..I started off too dark and so it printed even darker…lost most of the detail from the waist down

her apprentice costume in the opening (and her other costume in the ending…stay tuned kiddies) is meant to be an homage to the original Sheldon Moldoff costume

also, in the series I use snow as the backdrop and symbol to times of Moon Girls deepest losses

cause I’m artsy-fartsy like that

————————————————————————————————————-

for the next month I’m going to put up a page a day of the original unlettered images for whoever’s interested
