Here’s a pinup I did for ‘D.O.G.S. of Mars’, a book Paul Maybury drew. This limited-palette color scheme was really fun to color in.

Page 51 from the Black Cherry Bombshells is a reference to Fear and Loathing; illustrated by Sacha Borisich and John Dallaire.
I think this was the first Hunter S. Thompson shout-out in the 9 issue web-series, certainly not the last.
Ultra-violent girl gangs fight for power in a strange future where men are zombies. In Vegas, the Black Cherry Bombshells and their leader Regina take control of the bootlegging industry, much to the fury of the local crime boss, a woman called The King.

Hey, the last issue of Dogs of Mars is out on comixology!
You can read the whole 100 page book for only 3 dollars. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
BUT WAIT, I’m currently remastering the colors and redrawing a lot of panels in preparation for the collected version which will see print next year.  SO, the comixology version will remain unique, and would be worth the read if you want to see both versions.
Here’s a remastered page for the print version. It’s got two new panels and some color improvements.
