If you’ll be in the Boston area on March 5th, consider catching the opening reception for Tak Toyoshima’s “Asian Americana” at Zuzu in Central Square! Tak is the creative director of Boston’s Weekly Dig as well as the creator of the incisive and long-running strip Secret Asian Man. Plus he’s an ace guy, so show a local creator and strong voice in the Asian American arts community your support!

Tak was one of the first guys to give me illustration work. We even did a giant painting together for some live art show years ago. I believe it’s still rolled up somewhere in the Weekly Dig office. Any ways, if you’re in the area check this out!
